Dealer Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

Only registered South African motor dealerships holding a valid dealer licence under the Motor Industry Act may list vehicles on MotorGrid. By registering as a dealer on the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement and agree to these Dealer Terms & Conditions.

2. Listing Accuracy

All vehicle listings must be accurate, current, and represent vehicles physically available for sale at your dealership. You are responsible for keeping price, mileage, and availability information up to date. MotorGrid reserves the right to remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise violate these terms.

3. Lead Distribution

Leads generated through the Platform (including WhatsApp enquiries originating from MotorGrid listings) are provided to you on a best-effort basis. MotorGrid does not guarantee a minimum number of leads and is not liable for any failure to receive or convert leads.

4. Subscription & Fees

Access to listing and lead features is subject to the subscription plan selected at registration. Fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced. MotorGrid reserves the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' written notice.

5. Sponsored Listings

Sponsored placement on the Platform is subject to availability and the current sponsored listing rate. Sponsored vehicles receive priority placement on homepage and province pages. Sponsorship does not alter the obligation to maintain accurate listing data.

6. Prohibited Content

Dealers may not list vehicles that are:

  • Stolen or encumbered with undisclosed finance.
  • Written off and not roadworthy.
  • Not legally permitted for resale under South African consumer protection legislation.

7. Termination

MotorGrid may suspend or terminate a dealer account immediately upon evidence of fraudulent listings, repeated inaccuracies, or violation of these terms. Dealers may cancel their subscription with 30 days' notice via the dealer portal.
